Recurring Billing Software FAQ
What is recurring billing software?

Recurring billing software allows you to automatically bill clients for your services. It will charge their preferred billing method a set amount over the time period of your choice (usually monthly).

How do you set up recurring payments?

Setting up recurring payments is simple as sending a proposal with a recurring service. Just add your service to a proposal and send it to the client with your preferred payment method. Once they accept, you'll collect payments on a recurring basis. You can even customize the collection day for every proposal.

What payment methods do you accept?

It depends on your country. Right now we support credit card recurring payment processing in: the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. We accept reccuring ACH/direct debit payments in the United States and Australia.

How are recurring invoices handled?

We integrate through your accounting software, so either Xero or Quickbooks. You can send invoices in bulk to your clients if you don't want to send them out one by one.

Does it work for subscriptions?

Sure! Practice Ignition was designed for client-based businesses but it can work for subscriptions too. Just create your subscription as a service and send out your proposal.

How do you stop recurring billing if someone cancels?

It's super simple! Just go to the client and find the proposal that's been accepted for recurring payment. Click on 'actions' and then mark the proposal as 'complete'.
