We have been hard at work improving your Ignition experience - and wanted to let you know of four small but significant changes we have made!

1. Manage who your communications appear from

A great way to add a personal touch to your proposals in Ignition is to add a personal message to your proposals.

If you have never used this feature, you add a personal message from the Messaging tab in a proposal. This message is the first thing your client sees on your proposal, which is a nice personal touch!

Based on your feedback, we have made some changes to allow you to select who the personal message appears from on your proposal. See how to change who your personal message appears from below:

By default, communications on a proposal will come from your business - this includes proposal emails, the email reply-to address and the personal message.

Your personal message appears from your business by default

If, instead, you would like emails, reply-to and the personal message to appear from a specific Ignition user, you can select this user from the “Send Communications From” drop down in the Messaging Tab of a proposal. Please see our support article here for more details.

2. Further additions to data exports

Based on your feedback, we have made some further additions to two of our data exports:

  • The client data export now contains the date that the client was created - allowing you to better manage your client data in bulk
  • The services revenue by client export now contains the emails of the partner and manager of that client - allowing you to segment service revenue by partner or manager

If you have not heard of the new services revenue export, please read our release blog here.

3. See ACH payment methods awaiting verification (USA only)

For our friends in the USA, we have made some improvements that make it easier for you to identify clients with a verifying ACH payment method.

If your clients have elected to verify their ACH payment method via micro-deposits, you will now be able to quickly access a list of clients who are yet to verify - allowing you to follow-up with these clients and get paid faster!

You can now access a list of your clients with verifying ACH payment methods from a filter in the clients screen. This allows you to review this list, and follow-up with these clients to have their payment methods verified.

Even FASTER! You can click through from your dashboard to view this list as well!

4. Create proposals for clients with no email

Ignition aims to be as automated as possible, and most of your clients will have an email address, but for those few who don’t (and still operate entirely by snail mail) you can now create proposals for these clients without adding an email address.

This may seem like a small addition, but it is a step along the way for us to move from proposals sent via one mode (email) to having multiple modes for sending proposals - think send via sms - which we plan to accommodate in the future!

As always, we welcome your feedback and look forward to improving Ignition with each new release! Stay tuned - Onwards and Upwards!
